On September 24, 2011 Baker County, Florida celebrated its 150th Anniversary! Spearheaded by the Baker County Historical Society, the Baker County Sesquicentennial Celebration was held all day in downtown Macclenny. Approximately 10,000 people celebrated our county's rich historical heritage with a parade, WW II aircraft flyover, historical home tours, exhibits, a street dance, historic demonstrations, and so much more! We want to thank all of those who were involved and attended. You made it a wonderful event!
